All the chooks are in the coop, hopefully. I didn’t do the headcount tonight. Dakota was trying to get me to bring her inside the house, so I did. Supposed to rain again tonight.
I’ll go check on them one more time before I go to bed

Sylvie has rather tentatively joined the big group on the big roost. She has roosted as far away from them as is possible and still be on the big branch even though she would be next to Babs who wouldn't bully her - but at least it is a start of getting her out of the nest box.
So for tonight at least I have a 6+1 roosting pattern with Piglet ruling her solo roost on the other side of the Palace.

Open up! NOW!!!

Earlier today, I was sitting here at my desk. I see In Albis run past my door. She then turns around and starts ramming her head into my screen door. She managed to push it open (it's a curtain) and practically ran inside.

"I NEED A NEST. NOW!".

She then promptly jumped into the dark corners under my desk, aka the nest of wires I can't be bothered to fix. After that, she promptly ran out the door and straight to the coop since I had removed her because the chance of her destroying my stuff was there.

I think it was you, @RebeccaBoyd , but I remember someone here hates cactus. Feast your eyes on these

Yes it needs weeding, anyone know a good way to weed it? I plan on removing that grass before it plumps up fro the winter being dormant. If I had know it would take o er my garden like a weed I would not have planted it! But do so love my cactus
