I may be related to Grandma. I don't have any in the house, but I woke up craving chocolate ice-cream!

Tax: mud chicken had to really pull to get her leg out of the mud. She sank a long way in! She ran to try the wild water from the drainage ditch I dug this afternoon.

My husband once joked about buying a bunch of turkey chicks and letting them join the flocks of wild ones roaming around, just to see what people say.

That's actually illegal in some states. Has to do with interbreeding and domesticated Turkeys can't fly worth Pony's mount poopmore. Wild Turkeys can fly rather well. Many states also have regulations on raising pheasant, quail, bobwhite, and any other bird that CAN be a game bird.

Oh and my other worry is the opposite. What if they are wildly successful and before I know it the whole neighborhood is taken over by hoards of marauding Guineas? Would I have to confess they were originally mine?!

Well, you see, I am already hoping for more visits from my long distance neighbors 3. Your neighbors may love them, and feed them and steal them lol.

A lot has happened today. Two big things, actually.
First: I hit a new all-time high on egg production! 40 eggs!

Second: two of my chicks hatched, and more are pipping! They are so cute. I've got a super cute shot of them sleeping together. I've got to upload it yet.
