@featherhead007, do you have ceramic (or other hard surfaced) fake eggs in the nest?

I wanted to buy another pair of ceramic eggs from TSC. They had two packages of two eggs, and both had one egg in pieces. I asked if I could buy them at half price, and they said yes.

I glued the broken eggs back together, but left a hole. If I ever get a serious pecker (wow, that sounds naughty!), I'm going to try the "fill a fake egg with mustard" trick.
Meanwhile, my chooks love mustard and peppery things 😆😆

HRH Aurora says spicy food made her beard so glorious! Seems my chooks took that to heart.

I’m needing to get some of those ceramic ones. Golfballs are not working anymore I guess.

Wonderful!
:love
That worked pretty well getting them to go home. What is the blue herding stick you were using?
My ‘persuader stick’, it’s a buggy whip that extends my arm so I can guide them left and right. Also doubles as a percussion instrument 😁

I was using a stick in the past but I kept losing the stick, the buggy whip is easier to find being bright blue.

It’s also handy for pointing out missed treats hahaha all I have to do is point and say ‘look, over there’ and they run and grab the treat 😁

Between the red bowl and the blue buggy whip they all think there are treats involved!
