Crazy day...

I happened upon a serious motor vehicle accident here at Peavey Mart, I was one of first on scene, so I went and assisted one of the drivers, he was in bad form

I stabilized his neck and hugged, comforted and talked with him till emergency medics arrived. He for sure had a compound fracture on left leg above knee.

Once medics arrived I left to get my feed, seems though my truck won't start. I parked it off to the side when I went to assist accident, when I went to move truck it wouldn't start.

So I am here in the store waiting for CAA ( AAA) to come and help me get it started or moved, I tried boosting it with one of the guys, but it wouldn't start.

Now someone told me the driver has died

Sad day if so, I know his name so I will check into this.

BBQ is in the bath. I’m really worried about her. She was laying down (dust bathing) but she would get up, even when I tried to grab her. When I brought her in my porch, she looked really unsteady in her feet. Her feathers are cold and slightly damp.
As I am writing this she just jumped out of the bath, so I’m gonna look at her feet.

I let the chooks loose to go scratch in the mud. And I need to go to tractor supply for a few things.

I did wrap her up. I also think that my body heat may have warmed her up a little. She’s back out with the others and it’s raining a little bit.

I went to TSC and got some drainage gravel for the front gate. I asked if somebody could help me load it, but I didn’t want to wait for ever. I loaded it in my car by myself, (without incident)
I never ask of anyone anything that I could do myself, when I have to.
No toads were harmed by me driving thru the gate.
