Sad news.

My beautiful white Chantecler rooster, Snowbird, has died. I don't know what happened.

Rest in peace, buddy. Fly high and free.

I will bury him in the garden tomorrow.

And I’m not really awake yet.
But we had a great night together cumfy cozy on the couch. I didn’t want to wake him up last night to move him. So we just stayed where we were.

A good Roo is a blessing, I was just thinking today how good Mr Pompeii is, I sure hope Bert turns after him.

Just remember to give Bert a bit of leeway - he will still go through the idiot hormonal stage, but hopefully Mr. P and the girls (since it is only 1 they have to contend with), will keep him mostly in check!
