Okay, so these chicks!!

These ones here! I’ve had them all of 36 hours and they’re already getting stern talking-tos
So there are three olive eggers (born this week), and three Black copper marans, two of which were born last week. These older marans are brats! They are all trying to root and dig, so they scratched up my paper towel floor to reveal the shavings underneath, which I usually don’t expose new chicks to for a couple of days. Sure enough, the four younger chicks started gobbling down pine shavings. Lord help them.

I’m over the moon with this little yellow chick though. She (willing that gender into reality) is from an Ermine breeding pen, so she’ll probably look just like her Erminette americauna momma
