I really hope that my remaining AC survives into adulthood. I want a Polish x Ayam Cemani so badly.
I also want a pair of AC’s, but that won’t happen unless I can lease my friend’s roosters (if she has one.)

I think I owe tax: and happy Mugs Monday!
Nemesis is so pretty. Even if he and Athens don’t turn out to be as great of a roo as Pastel, I think I’ll keep them.

Oh, aren’t Polish supposed to be smaller? I didn’t get bantam Polish, but my guys seem really small.
But then again Pegasus and Midnight are really small for 6 weeks, but I feel like the Polish are just really small for 12 weeks.
I’ll get pics of them when I get home later.

I'm going to examine her. I think she's got a swelling at the bottom. I only have amoxicillin here but won't use it until I am sure. Her poops are sloppy today

I really had to clean her up she was a dreadful mess

Adult polish tend to be 4-5 pounds. Adult plymouth rocks tend to be 7-9.5 pounds. Mixes can match either parent breed or be in between. You seeing the difference in size scaled to their growth rates

Oh no! I hope she feels better.

I felt and it isn't swollen, but I'm starting to think it may be eggshell.

I felt around her inside her vent with olive oil and nothing was there.

She's just had a bit of banana and I gave her yogurt a bit earlier. She also had pumpkin seeds this morning . She's tired and only wants to be in her coop. I made her stay in the garden for an hour this morning, to dry off in a warm breeze and grab a few greens.

I only have dried oregano, but I'll mix this into some wet foods later. Hopefully that'll help . Any other ideas anyone may have to share will be appreciated.

Splotch and Pastel killed an adult mouse and I had to tug it out of their beaks… it was disgusting. I was literally playing tug-of-war with two chickens with a dead mouse.

It was a few years ago, when they were still teens and I didn’t know much about chooks. I was worried it would get them sick.
