Wow that is tiny!

Fart eggs are the tiniest and in our case was the prelude to a 5-1/2 yr old Silkie hen w/ developing reproductive issue -- eventually a bleeding ovarian tumor. She also layed an egg w/ rubbery texture, & also no shell egg. Sadly she was put down at 6-1/2 yrs old at the vet.

Wow. I hope that isn’t the case with Tassels. She is only just over a year old.
The strange egg was her first back to laying after being broody for 23 days and then no laying for about a week after I got her to snap out of broodiness.
Honestly it didn’t occur to me something might be wrong, I assumed she was just getting the production line back up and running.
Oh I do hope she is OK.

I think she is fine. In Albis went broody recently and has started laying smaller than usual eggs.

I don't know why it happens, but all of my girls laid those eggs and then they came back to normal
