Yes they are all ready for Canada Day tomorrow. Sporting the red maple leaf on their butts.

It’s like she has white spots all over like an Appaloosa.

Hetty had white tipped breast feathers for quite a while. Now she's all black. No white anywhere.

Comb: Focus had a similar comb at same age. No wattles until within the last couple of weeks. I noticed her comb at about the same age and wondered for a while.

Barring: wait until the 9-12 week moult. Comb/wattles will be CLEAR by then and the adult color will be coming through.

Fireworks all night. Sheesh.

You should live here! Illegal fireworks and firecrackers going off all hours sporadically since April. Just get ready to sleep and suddenly someone sets off firecrackers or noise bomb that rattles the house!

The hens and pullets got used to the noises but dogs in the neighborhood bark their heads off, poor things.

Thanks, I shall do as Bob suggest to Rebecca and just enjoy them and worry about it when the time comes.

I also checked out earlier photos of Larry2 and she definitely was barred by that age.
