@featherhead007 I have been very happy with the RoboKiller app. I never get any spam calls now, and it plays hilarious robo-messages to any known spammers that try to get through.

Per Owly, the spiciest snacks she can find are horse flies and yellow jackets. Very tasty and essential to beard growth.

Mr Little Chicken was kicking up such a fuss today - I looked to see him on the hunt (so cute) I didn’t really pay him any attention as I was busy fixing the Run fence.

Next thing I hear him just chattering excitedly so I looked and he had caught something, but surprisingly only Mrs Little Chicken was trying to steal his catch which she did but let it go in a hurry! He grabbed it up and proceeded to beat the ever living daylights out of it. I could hear from the crunches that it was something hard and sturdy - what on earth was it?

Finally he gobbled it down and looked very satisfied with himself. I caught a hold of him and checked him out, he looked ok. Very smug was his look I would say, as I was setting him down I waved my hand at a honeybee flying around in the patch of catnip they were hiding out in, and I realized what it was he had caught and ate - a honeybee.

The patch of catnip with its purple flowers is full of the bees, I have never seen my other chooks kill bees before - and I can’t help but wonder if all his excited chattering was from being stung. I didn’t notice any swelling in him or Mrs LC, are chickens immune to bee stings?

I would say that is a sweet and spicy treat for him

I have never seen mine eat stinging insects before.
