Most good roosters like having their wattles rubbed! :D IMG_4499.jpeg

Neighbor has a new wild game rooster. 🤦‍♂️ and has come over the fence to see my birds. It’s a very young boy, but he’s gonna be trouble for me. I already warned the neighbor that I would not let his rooster come over and cause trouble for my roosters. ☠️ and I mean it!!
I am so sorry to hear this. This neighbor makes me angry. He has demonstrated in the past he cannot contain any of his chickens. It is not his roosters fault for a bad owner but you have your own to worry about. You keep yours contained to your yard. I am sorry but this rooster would disappear the next time it visits. If it could be caught catch it and take it to the shelter and explain your situation. If not well, we know what the last one did to Jaffar. It may be time to employ the SSS rule as much as I hate it.

Yup, make the hole somewhere not on your property though!

How about a strand of electric along the top of your fence Alex - zap the Roo as it hops up there the fly over for a visit.

That’s an idea 💡. There’s roughly 200ft of fence line I have to cover bordering the two properties. How he came back after I evicted him is unclear. I rented the house to another tenant, it’s obvious that everybody knows everybody in this town. (I said no animals without my consent) I have been thinking about this all night long. The guy was very apologetic with his attitude towards me during our conversation. He’s probably just trying to cover himself. The dogs were gone for a few weeks, but came back de-barked (how cruel is that!) I could do a quick job of this legally, by having him sighted for trespassing. But reprisals are painful and expensive.
