This is Jeannie, but we have nicknamed her “Bad-Hair-Day”.
(She is a silver-laced Wyandotte)

Peaches is like: "Hi sis!"
Snooze is like: "I am tired leave me alone and get this phone out of my face!"
Maybe he's found his home. I hope so. You're kind helping him.I just have to share!
We have a visitor!
He showed up out of nowhere four days ago, and has been hanging around our house ever since.

I have a feeling he was “ dropped off”, because chickens don’t just “get lost”, do they?
I have an ad in the local Lost & Found on Facebook but other than a few “aww…”s, no one knows or wants him.
He is shiny and looks well-cared-for, he is solid BLACK.
He walks back and forth at the fence looking at our chickens, lol.
I finally broke down and put food out there, and he was famished!
Guess I’ll have to find him a home. Wish me luck with that.
What an adorable twosome2fer!

Post that picture on BYC picture of the week. Thanks!
Your silkies are what 3 or 4 weeks older then mine? Mine will be 5 weeks old this weekend so yours have to be coming on 8 or 9 weeks right. In about 2 more weeks you can start looking at their tails to get a guess. Similar to polish and their crests. Rounded neat tails pullets, wild and disheveled tails boys.Gosh I have lost count now.
I go between picking the pullets to sell and keep….
Sweetie and Jaffarra will stay, the rest are up on the air.
Shorty will have to go. And the silkies if they are boys. I am trying to stay unattached but it’s hard! They are all so darn friendly.
