Remember the ballet "Swan Lake" ? And that dying Swan. Well the true story is there was another important person in that Ballet 🙄 Her Royal Highness...Princess muck.

I hope you supplied an Ant-Acid for Princess!!
She's perfectly fine. She loved yesterday and this morning she's been looking for Amori the cat by calling him outside his den, the old coop.
He's either fast asleep or off somewhere because he hasn't had his breakfast yet.

Oliver, i believe , I'm not 100 per cent sure it's him yet. But a black cat has got a den down the road.

The reason i think it's oliver is everyone confuses him with my pusscat. So when the lady said my lad was sleeping out her garden I was thrilled, instantly thinking this has to be grumpy oliver

Apparently she's set up a really comfy area for him. Her garden like mine is now rat free

Oh, I forgot to mention the fleas. With all the stray cats around here, it’s a fleas paradise in this heat. Fleas breed like crazy in hot weather.
I've got this natural DE rubbed into Amori and I brushed him with coconut rosemary and lavender last night.

Princess has been powdered, if anything it's oliver will be the problem. I'll have to get my thinking cap on for him

The chicklets were pooped. They settled down almost immediately after I brought them in last night. They roused up a time or two for a quick snack but like normal chickens finally slept through the night. Normally they are noisy little buggers at all times, not that I mind. I got up at 8 and they were still sleeping. I moved them out to the coop this morning around 9. I am going to have to savor my evenings now. The silkies are feathering out fast and I think maybe starting Sunday or Monday they will be moved out permanently. It will be a while before free ranging happens. still way too little to be trusted by themselves. They are also getting to meet everyone through the safety of the coop. Everyone wants in with them. Not to meet them, they think they need to taste test their food to make sure it is safe. The big girls favorite time of the day is when I bring them back inside. It is a free for all to gobble up their leftovers.

A neighbor down the road, painted his 200 gallon propane tank white with cow spots. He must be nutz.
🤦‍♂️
I want to paint cow spots on mine!

Please be careful, lavender is very toxic to cats! Gave my Nora girl a seizure once and her vet said no lavender for kitties

Georgie girl is just that, a girl. Clyde-ette. That one needs a week or two. Looks like it is still in the process of one of its juvenile molts. It could go either way but not screaming boy right now. I could lean towards pullet at the moment. It's poof is messy though, could almost say streamers are forming but we really need to wait until that molt is complete. The tail is just not completely molted enough to go by.

I only use a drop in a large amount of organic fractured coconut oil. It's the tee tree that's dealing to cats he has no issues with my lavender plant
