Those 2 pictures will become special to me. I have a sad update on my boy Bubba. I promised him I would not let him suffer, and he has started to decline again. Yesterday evening he let me hold him and unfortunately the redness is now going up his legs. It is hard to spot due to the leg feathering but it is streaking up, puffy and now there is heat in his legs and the sores on his feet. He was not as active yesterday and today so far he is resting a lot as well. I am going to spoil him, he already got handfed a bunch of sunflower seeds which thankfully he ate some of them instead of trying to give them all to the girls. Later I have a can of tuna for him, he is going to get all his favorite treats. It may not happen tonight, but definitely in the next few days. I am watching him very closely, he will tell me when it is time.
Adorable. The hoodlems are now 5 1/2 weeks old. They still look like they stuck their toes in a light socket. Color is starting to pop though.

Gorgeous chickens. Just plain gorgeous.
I had a Silke cockerel that didn't crow till he was 7 months!!!Hahaha we’ll talk..
Some tape on their beaks to keep them quiet, shove them under the seat. Hahaha just kidding - poor babies!
But yep it would be a great solution for sure. And Clyde is such a big cuddly suck!
My big worry now is Shirley/Shorty.
Yesterday Mr P ran up behind him/her as if to mount him/herbut he stopped when She/he moved away.
What does that mean?! Is he a she? Or what? Shouldn’t the little fart be starting to crow if a boy??
He/she is 9 weeks old now.
The first batch is 14 weeks old. The OEGB are 12 weeks old.
Infection? Vet didn't prescribe antibiotic? What have I missed about his existing condition?I give you this for 2 for Tuesday.

Though not a favorable characteristic it's possible for an EE to have no muffs.Easter Eggers look like chipmunks as chicks. Not so in this case.
Oh Bubba - my heart is breaking.I give you this for 2 for Tuesday.
