I'd love to be able to reply to @Ponypoor informative post. But three times I have tried and I'm thrown off the page into a different thread I think this might be my phone. It's honestly putting me off posting my replies first thing in the morning.

I am home! All chickens are accounted for and laid their eggs in the nest boxes as a treat for me!
One of my steps seems to have been destroyed by dust bathing, and my little chicken paths are definitely overgrown!

Well one cat is very happy to see me and is head butting me very hard at every opportunity and one cat hasn’t even come to say hello yet!
The chickens were all happy to be let out and definitely crowded around my legs for treats.
I am of course the one that is pleased to see all of them!

People underestimate how lovable cat's are.

How long was your journey yesterday?

People underestimate how lovable cat's are.

Door to door it was a bit over 14 hours, just over 245MPH. I never thought of it that way before.

I just woke up (jet lag) and I am covered in cat slobber. Nightshade has been giving me a good wash and brush up while I was sleeping. I feel a little offended as I did shower after getting home so I wouldn’t smell like all that travel!

Travel tax: only 5 chickens on the roost, why do they scare me like this?

Oh, it is OK. It is Sylvie pulling a Greta Garbo. And she is positioned perfectly to poop in the waterer that my chicken carer hung there (I never hang waterers under roosts or perches)! I will deal with that in the morning.

These cats can be annoying but it's only because they genuinely love us. If I had no one or any other animal. I know for certain I'm truly loved by this little guy without a shadow of a doubt
