He was semi-throwing the frisbee at me and running into the water for me to throw it again. Funnily enough, he still won't get in the wading pool.
Having grown up with animals on the farm and chickens in our backyard I've noticed they gravitate to moving water like creeks, rain water, sprinklers, rather than still pools or water pans/bowls. Running water out of faucets, spigots, or hoses is also inviting.

It is official, this group of chicks are the hardest to take a decent picture of. I got 4 of the silkies. There were 2 more to go but I cannot wrangle any more chicks by myself tonight.

This one is the one I am thinking looks like a "Patsy"

This one is the biggest surprise of them all. This one folks, is Reba/Barbosa. My judgey big chipmunk chicks feathering is coming in black with just the tiniest hint of color on the wings. It did not want to stand still for just 2 seconds to have a picture taken. It has also been glaring at me since I put it back in the brooder. It is a very good thing looks cannot kill right now let me tell you.

Oh my gosh, they are so fuzzy and cute. Love Patsy’s coloring. And Reba/Barbosa’s top do!

Oh he quite happily lays in the water in the grass from the hose. Doesn't like the hose running over his back, but will happily play in the rain.

They are all darling. 🥰

Patsy is beautiful. 😍

Nothing is better. I will say there are days I like when Mrs BY Bob joins me and other times when I prefer to be alone with them.
Mum came to the barn last night and we jibber jabbered about the chooks for a good 45 min - it was Friday so I am not so stressed about wasting time and getting stuff done.
