Good morning everyone.

Where has this summer gone. Tomorrow I have a Junior in high school. I cannot wrap my head around that fact. Rosie was sick last year when they selected their schedules for this year so was thinking she would have to finalize it when she goes back tomorrow. I was rudely awakened at 4 am this morning to her dancing in my room screaming. Her teachers made a schedule for her and she LOVES it. Why was she screaming and dancing at 4 in the morning? Because she got AP Pre-Calculus. Bye Bye honors classes, hello Advanced Placement Math. Fast forward several hours and 2 pots of coffee later, yup, weirdo math nut still running through my brain. To each their own, I did AP history in high school and thrived, cried and struggled over math. She also has US history 1850 something onward, English 3, 2 computer/business classes, Business and Marketing and multi media and publishing. Both those are also dual credit college classes. I forget the name of the science class, but it is another physics type one. Her 1 complaint is they put her in a gym class. That must be changed, she wants to swap it out with Creative Writing. We will see if she can do that. I think Creative Writing is only offered to Seniors, she claims Juniors can take it. Honestly this time I do believe I am right and actually know something about that high school. I swear she forgets that at one time I was also a junior in high school. I also WENT to that school 20+ years ago.

Today is the day!

I put out extra feeders, a few treats, and as soon as my coffee finishes brewing I will be out there to keep an eye on them.

I warned Kasumi that if she harms one baby, after the broodies are done with her that her new name will be Dumplings. She's been good today though.

3/7 babies were out when I went inside. Morinth was encouraging the others to be brave.
I let Samara peck me and backed off to demonstrate to the other ladies that the broodies will protect the babies.
