Mine might kill you for banana. I once made the mistake of eating one in the chicken run.
I had planned to share.
That didn’t go so well!

You give her banana, she's going to be jumping to get it out of your hands. Mine will even eat out of hands of complete strangers for bananas

Mine do not like banana! But squash and the like, well that’s good worth running for - oh and bread.

I've eaten some foods that they wouldn't touch. I can't remember what it was, but I remember them looking at it, not trying it, and leaving it on the ground.

casportpony BYC staff deleted my double post. I have admired the very chicken knowledgable casportpony over these many years. casportpony has dozens of posts about chickens, diseases, surgeries, problems, etc, many posts. A real BYC angel!
