Today Squeak hopped up and sat on my lap. She is my aloof Bielefelder. I don't think she's been on my lap since she was a chick!

I refrained from petting her, mostly. Very light caress on her side. She was ok with 3 or 4, then looked like she was going to get up and go, so I stopped. She sat for about 5 minutes.

Awww such precious moments when they decide to visit.

So precious! One of my BOrps sidled up to my hand today, she let me gently brush her side once then looked nervous. Ric Flair even came over for a single wing stroke too!

Jingle let me pet her for close to 5 minutes today! And she probably would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to go do stuff. She has never once let me touch her so this is massive progress. I couldn’t even get within 5 feet of her without her freaking until a couple weeks ago!

She is turning into such a sweet girl

Morinth is sleeping with the adults tonight. The BOrps and Bab have all of the youngest snuggled in the nestboxes of the second coop from my quick glance while getting the door.

Coop 3 pics so far. I think I'll line it with the foiled bubblewrap too just to be safe from drafts.

That is a real clever repurpose of those boxes. Nicely done. Drafts are your enemy. Anything you can do to limit them is smart.

Aero jumps on just because she wants the attention. But that makes the Rockettes jealous.

Everyone went into the coop today except for CeeCee. I had to chase her down and point to the coop.
