I don't think it has venom pouches, but I'm asking a friend who breeds boas (loves snakes)

My DD's boa was not poisonous but it bit her on the leg once when it got loose & she surprised it in the bathroom just as she stepped out of the shower.

At one of our snack stops and he chose the apple over meal worms.

It's amazing how well chickens adapt to car rides.

I have used Amoxicillin- 250mg twice a day for 7 days for Sharpie when she had her retained egg issue.

I also gave her 1/2 a low dose aspirin at night for 5 days, for any further issues with inflammation.

Not that it's a cure but we feed diced cucumbers to laying hens since they have a property to reduce swelling. Ever seen ladies at luxury spas w/ cuke slices on their eyelids ~ supposedly to reduce puffy eyelids! I figure it might help somewhat to reduce vent swelling in laying hens. Couldn't hurt? Anyway, our hens love to eat cucumbers ~ even the leaves!
