BTW how are your neck & shoulder?Mallorca files is set on the island of Mallorca (off the coast of Spain), it’s about a British detective who gets transplanted there who solves crimes.
Another you may enjoy is My Life is Murder (New Zealand/Australia TV), another detective show about a retired detective who freelances for the police.
Have you seen Death in Paradise? Also a BBC show set in the Caribbean. And Sister Boniface (spin off from Father Brown), oh and Miss Scarlet and the Duke (BBC).
And Murdock Mysteries (Canadian, 20 seasons I think, I have missed the last couple seasons) - it’s set in around 1903-ish Toronto - it’s really interesting to see how policing was back then - they do a good job of trying to be factual. And it’s fun to spot the old museums here in my home town they use for the stories sometimesand no shortage of old barns and homes from turn of the century 1900s around here to shoot scenes. I love when they do scenes in the old hospitals - some I have worked in and know the creaky old back staircases
Over the past few years I have been watching these on and off.
Today I spent a lot of a time watching shows (watched a couple episodes of Mallorca files and a couple re-runs of Death in Paradise), my shoulder and neck are just aching. I am beginning to think it’s just my neck arthritis which has been acting up past week or so, maybe a pinched nerve in my neck causing my shoulder pain.
TY for show recommendations! Finished Sister Boniface, wasn't too keen on Mallorca Files, saw Death in Paradise before, I started My Life Is Murder but switched to Murdock Mysteries because it's set in early century w/historical charm. Mysteries are always interesting. I'll probably go back to Mallorca & Paradise after Murdock. TY again.
