I have a rooster in the house with me. He is Rudy and he is such a good boy. He doesn’t attack the hens, the way Mr. Wyandottey does. There’s something wrong with his eye.

I ate some of the steakI just gave Rudy a late snack. Chopped tenderloin. He gobbled it up so fast I didn’t stand a chance.
I just hope he doesn’t fart late tonight.
I have given my chooks tuna and salmonbut I hated their beak breath afterwards.
Too much information? Just pretend that I put it in a spoiler.![]()
She certainly was rare, one of a kind ! The most parisian polish.
Is Mrs By Bob feeling any better ?
My gosh. What a setting. Beautiful. Congrats to you all!!!It was up to me to name my youngest daughter. I named her Kathleen, no middle name. As a teenager she gave me so much grief over it, lol. BTW, did I mention that Kathy is engaged now!View attachment 3992733
It's not your fault. It will be a long time before I'm not triggered by things like that. Please don't worry about it. I miss her but you should not avoid anything related. I need to deal with it.Sorry to bring up sad memories
I miss all your beauties as much as my own![]()
Sounds like you raised an excellent young woman. Well done.My daughter at 30 has experienced all that. Witnessed her parents divorce at a young age, worked her way through college, acquired a number of scholarships, has already paid her student loans, bought and paid for a newer car, bought an older house and remodeled it herself, she has helped her older sister raise my granddaughter, works a full time and part time job for 2 big radiology departments in Austin. I think she's ready. She was raised to be independent and strong and she is both. She has dated Vince for a number of years and I honestly was getting impatient for him to pop the question. When he asked for my blessing I proudly gave it. Vince is a dr at the VA clinic in Austin and a dang nice guy. I have liked him from the get go.
Phyllis was a great loss that we all feel deeply about. Her, and Betty and the rest, touched my cold dead heart. It's not your fault. It will be a long time before I'm not triggered by things like that. Please don't worry about it. I miss her but you should not avoid anything related. I need to deal with it.
I never considered you as a wart!
I really wanted to congratulate Greg and Lety on their children and grandchildren’s wedding, but I can’t.
Divorce hurts too much, so why celebrate a wedding with no promises of staying together forever?
Been there done that.
I think there should be a two year university, that teaches everything about marriage, raising children, buying real estate, all the stress that a remodeling job can cause, how to deal with interloping family members. The list goes on before they have a marriage license and eternal relationship.

People are all different. My DD was 29 when she married w/her own home, car, career, & man she dated for a long while. My DS married at 56 w/ head on his shoulders to a gal the same w/ their own homes, cars, & already planning their retirement not far off. I have no grandchildren which is almost a blessing considering today's weird world. My daughter at 30 has experienced all that.
