Ah. I live in the higher part of the Mojave Desert, around 2,500 ft above sea level, so I sometimes get up to 2 inches of accumulated snow. They used to say that it was a once-in-a-decade thing, but it has been happening more frequently in the past few winters. Last winter we got the most snow I've seen here in my entire life. It lasted the whole day.

Those of us in low-lying Calif valleys seldom know what snow is. Unless we're near or in Mountains or High Desert we never see snow. I live in San Gabriel Valley yet so close to the SG mtn range that during frost temps if we get rain it will sprinkle frozen drops that melt as soon as they hit our ground. Neighborhood lawns will look like silver dew while the flakes on the ground melt fast in minutes. Not cold enough to even make one snowball. & if we're not awake in the morning when it happens we'll never see it cuz it melts in 10-15 minutes!

A month ago prices were down for corn and feed.
Today prices are sky high.
$28 dollars for a 50lb bag of feed
$ 80 cents per ear of corn 🌽
$ 50 cents a can for canned corn (on sale at Walmart)
Even meally worms used to be $7.00 a bag
Now they are $8.95 at Walmart
And I’m not getting any richer lately.
:old :rant:mad::th
Rant over. Here’s some tax

That's coincidence you said that. I thought the same thing when I found the picture in my archives from 50 yrs ago.
