Same with everything - money is the driving force, look at laying hens - after a yr and a half they are culled and replaced. It’s all about money.

Mine too, but it’s not the eggs that I like most about the chooks, it’s their antics and personalities that make me happiest (except for that Wyandottey!)

Ok everyone, I didn’t know how many chooks I had so tonight I counted the all.

Let’s have a little contest on how many chickens do I have now…. A hint, it’s less then 100.
