How old are they exactly? For what it is worth, George and the silkies are molting yet again. George has new pin feathers in his neck and I can feel pins underneath all the silkie fluff. They will be 6 months old in just over a weeks time. It is one of their many juvenile molts.

9-10 months (feb/March hatch)

I should be outside building another coop for the Wyandottey.

Button is STILL laying! Now it's an egg every 2nd or 3rd day, but dang it girl! STOP LAYING and MOLT already!

George is growing up and I think finally discovering he is a rooster. Of course his first roosterly act was directed towards me. Why not, Branch was the same way. I give it a month and when the girls start back laying again he will forget all about me and discover the ladies. I actually caught it on video. George always escorts me back into the house so I thought I would share it with you all.

I also have some pictures of my handsome little man. I love this little guy.
