That darn Truly, now she is showing signs of being colicky, which means I will be up now. I gave her some Bute (pain med), in the off chance she is just really achy with her arthritis.

But she isn’t eating which is always a bad sign with horses.

So here is am having to watch her on the camera for the next hr to see if the pain meds work.

Or if I have to get dressed and go to the barn and walk her all night.

Meanwhile her camera in her stall keeps going down. Sheesh!
:fl:bow

Am I neglecting my chooks? I usually go out and tuck them into the coop at bedtime, the last few days I have forgotten what time it is, and then I go out in the dark, and count them with my flashlight.
It’s just that I haven’t been feeling well lately, and I’m trying to get as much rest as I can. I haven’t heard from the doctor about my bloodwork yet. One doctor said that after the finger prick test, I was very anemic :idunno IMG_5038.jpeg

Do you care to share what illness you are dealing with?

Getting old...or older...sucks! I have my 1st post-surgery therapy appt tomorrow. I don't look forward to it. Last time I had therapy about 6 yrs ago for something else which didn't help but they did make a tidy sum from my insurance co-pays!

Tx

Ginny went broody. Just a matter of time before the new Silkies go broody since everyone is laying these days.
