Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday.
I took a tumble on the ice. Nothing injured but my pride. Guys came to deal with some dead branches and they turned their big truck into a sled.
It is nasty out there with more on the way.
I showed my ladies the pictures of @Ponypoor’s eggs by way of encouragement.
At first I thought Pooh was interested. Then I realized I was holding a dinner roll in my hand and that was what had her attention. She looks completely different after her molt. Really lovely dark waistcoat/vest.
Here is her mugshot. Both she and Piglet - rushing over to get some dinner roll - are pink in the face but showing no interest in nest boxes.
Ever the optimist I am ordering 20% layer feed for when I run out of feed next week.

Hopefully I will be OK. It was a sort of slow-motion event - I had lots of time to crouch down and kind of tip over while skidding. Not a big bump.

That’s good you didn’t go crashing down. The older I get the more worried I get about falling. Had a few close calls past couple weeks, which made me really slow down and pay attention.

Don’t want to fall in the barn, I am sure those hyenas would peck my eyes out!

Ok everyone I am heading out to do chores - have an awesomely splendid evening/night/day!

Everyone wants to be with Mr P in Hen House A, he decided he wanted to roost on there with his ladies.

Meanwhile the others are in Hen House B.

And yes Alex I have not dealt with that cobweb yet…

I gave all the horses some Bute tonight. I am sure they are sore and appreciate some pain meds. Truly is upright and eating.
