In all the years we had parrotlets & parrots the only bird w/ a foot issue was one English Budgie we adopted w/ a missing foot. The breeder gave him free to us since he couldn't be used in shows. He moved around great w/ one foot hopping around & climbing like any other parrotlet. Wish I had a pic of him.I'm just thinking about feeding their little toes into that boot. Seems like wrapping might be easier.

Either way, I'm liking @SimpleJenn's new brooder. Also, it's disappointing to hear your pain, Jenn. If the ibuprofen and norco/Tylenol combo works, that should be good. I'm no expert in pharmaceuticals, so I have nothing to tell you.
