“Well, if you were me, and you’re not, I love a dip in daddy’s jacuzzi! It makes me smell good for my ladies!”

“Puff up for pictures, but without these feathers, I look like a rat!🐀

I’m up early to listen to the music of my beloved Mr Wyandottey (Rudy the roo) I call him by both names. He’s a good roo. But I have to feed him separate from the rest. He needs nourishment too. He tidbits a bit too much, and I don’t understand why, he’s a beautiful roo and shouldn’t have to bribe his girls. :idunno
He’s even sexually aggressive with little Nacho, but that’s what comes with being here in my coop! I have had no further contact with that neighbor about Nacho or the littles.View attachment 4081676
So these look like Pullets to me, anyone else was to chime in?

I have decent shade for them when the big tree is in leaf and I sometimes damp down an area of bare dirt.
In extreme temperatures I have used a low tech swamp cooler using wet sheets/towels and a fan. It actually works even though it is usually quite humid here in the summer.
I bought an evaporative cooler last year, but it was always so humid if didn’t help, humidity here was running into the 80% range all last summer.

Trees are awesome, and those I love!
