Meant that we could even get an apartment under the L in St. Louis and no problem :lau Or any other property near an airport 🛩️
We rented an old 1920's built wood frame house next to freight train tracks. The property next to the tracks was a vacant lot & then our little Craftsman house next to it so technically we were the house nearest the tracks. The house shook & windows rattled w/ every freight that streaked past, plus we were at the intersection connection & heard the clanging red lights & the trains' warning horns too ~ all hours of the day & night! My baby DS grew up able to sleep thru ANY noises now...me, not so much ☹️.

c. 1967 ~ look at the size of that wasted backyard ~ it was a big piece of property but we weren't allowed any pets or chickens, a real waste of land!

It's taken over 2 and a half hours to send princesses feed and a gift to Dean's farm via amazon.

For some reason after years of dealing with Dean's farm wish list, they can't deal with it anymore. Maybe the never could. 🤔

Wake up amazon your lack of helpfulness is very bad for business.

I for one owe this charity big time and won't be ordering their wish list from amazon ever again

Did my old human send me this food
That is a cute pic 💕 !! Amazon is just too big for them to manage well any more. Yesterday they delivered us a wrong order ~ they refunded us cuz it was a pharmacy item they won't take back...but today the new order arrived correctly. They are so huge there's bound to be mistakes made.

Peanuts - that what they like, and it will be your friend forever!
Is it wise to encourage squirrels around chicken feed/seeds & chickens? We chased our baby squirrel away. I'm not a fan of rodent type wildlife around our yard & cats aren't great at catching fast elusive squirrels ~ they steal from bird feeders & do damage getting into them. They are cute as can be...just not in my yard.

My grandmother lived in a house that was right where the Underground came to the surface.
When I stayed there I slept essentially next to the tracks.
The trains came every two minutes and I only ever woke up at about 1am when the system would be shut down and there would be no trains for about 3 hours.
I can still remember the feeling of waking up suddenly and realizing it was because of ‘sudden silence’!

Train track tax - my brave Princesses may be terrified of a few caterpillars but they are fine exploring in the jungle.
