Nimue soon followed

Nimue promptly dug 2 deep holes in the run.

The next step will be to see if they can find their way back to roost tonight.

You can always pop up here and put my naughty pullets to bed. Every night same thing - drag them off the stall walls and put them in the Hen House.

Note: sometimes I do go out into the coop after dark and talk with my chooks. Many of them, just jabber away and not a care in the world.

Tonight they all went into the coop, no questions asked. Probably because I found CeeCee outside the large gated parameter . I did quite a bit of yelling and she flew back over my six foot fence and then over the four foot gate heading towards the coop. True, if I was a chook, I’d be very afraid at that point and not lay eggs for a few days.

She’s guilty, but she’s so sweet, I could never see her in prison. Not even for a moment!

And after thirty minutes, my Coco wanted to accompany me to the house. No one can ever feel the warmth that I felt when Coco wanted to come in with me. She gave me some very loving pecks on my cheek. I knew that she was tired, so she is perched in my room. (She’s the one with the broken leg) She is every much a princess, my sweet Coco.

Striped chickens are unique IMO ~ Doms & BR's have a shared breeding history

Is there a splint on Coco's leg or ??? Do you have a pic of her leg?
