Never doubt the abilities of hawks. Here’s an interesting observation on the smarts of a Coopers Hawk adapting to the urban environment in New Jersey, using crosswalk sound cues and the line of cars as cover to hunt a certain spot across the street.

Wow that’s amazing! But not surprising. I don’t find it at all surprising that any animal is intelligent enough to plan something.

After mall I have watched my horses plan how to escape their stalls and paddocks!

And now the chooks - they are truly devious!

Tonight I decided to lop off some of Mr P’s puts and trim his overly long nails.

I took off about 1/2 the length of the spurs - rootin tootin hard material!
