I'm sure he'll find someone eventually ~ there's always a Jack for Jill somewhere...Oh I am sure they’d clobber him hahaha.
He tries to woo the girls but they clobber him - poor guy. He tried to imitate Mr P but the girls ignore him.

Lavender orpingtons?
OMG how eggciting! More babies! Love it. So glad you got them - chocolate Orps? I take it?
They are Lavender Orps. The picture might have been a little dark. My chocolates were a definite brown when I got them. These are more of a purple/blue/gray, with some yellow undertones.Nope, lavender Orpingtons are pretty much lavender from the start.
Those look too dark to me.

You can see how a horses eyes are on the side of their head, they can see to the side/behind but not too well in front.
This makes seeing predators easy.
Most of mine poop more like the green ones. I assume it is because they are eating a higher proportion of greens from forage rather than the commercial pellets.Poop

I have wanted Lavender Orpingtons ever since the first time I saw a picture of Hattie. I said OMG, a purple chicken.
I have seen them in feed stores a few times but they were always straight run. Finally found pullets.
