Jaffar was a special rooster, had a good life, and ended it serving his purpose. Protecting his flock. Now Mr Wyandottey is there to help fill the empty place in your heart. Jaffar will always have a small piece of it, and you will always have your fond memories of him. But now you have your gentle giant to bring you joy.

We have a second egg layer. The shell was so thin I broke it though

After these bags of flock maker are done I guess I should start them all on Full Plume again.

New egg layers can have inconsistent shells even with the best food and calcium sources. Soft shells, no shells, thin shells, and shells so hard you almost can’t crack them. The factory is still in “beta testing” and can produce inconsistent results.
