Thanks you two. I gave her a hard boiled egg and mixed it with her usual pellet food and gave her water mixed with mushroom powder. She's feeling much better now. She has been walking and is happy.

If her toes are curled due to vitamin B2 deficiency you need to give her vitamin supplements probably for at least a week. You can give human strength vitamin B complex (readily available at the pharmacy and many grocery stores). Mix it in with mash or in their water.
It is very safe so it is OK if the others get some supplement too.

New egg layers can have inconsistent shells even with the best food and calcium sources. Soft shells, no shells, thin shells, and shells so hard you almost can’t crack them. The factory is still in “beta testing” and can produce inconsistent results.

Also, at least I noticed it w/ my pullet Silkies, a new young egg layer gets intimidated away from food & oyster feeders by the older bratty hens! TG we have several feeding stations (5 stations & we have 6 birds) so that the more timid birds, especially layers, still have somewhere to go to get the nourishment they need.

Our bratty older Gold Partridge Ginny (w/Suzu). She's also the biggest fluffiest Silkie out of all the other Silkies.

Ginny's been a pushy broad since the 1st day we brought her home in a box w/Suzu 5 yrs ago! Some birds are just born b*tchy!

I have to say that as I am raising 2 more little polish right now the timing strikes me so. I have finally been able to look back at their photos and think of our time together and then this shows up.

Whomever you are who commissioned this for me, thank you so much. It has touched my heart deeply.

I will be posting this anywhere I might find the person who did this for me, so some of you will see this post again.

Beautiful work, she is a very talented artist. What an amazing this anonymous person did! I do hope they solve the mystery for you.
