I brought all the birds in to the chickens room. The Rockettes chose not to come. It’s just getting too hot outside now

They are buff orpington and barred rock crosses. @rural mouse any thoughts on what they will look like when full grown?
Also, I see 2 boys for sure. What does everyone else think?
I would do that. Good for you.![]()
1 & 4 are cockerels. 3 might be also...and is not a buff orp x barred rock. The white (silver) would show in a sex-link type cross if done right, however, a barred rock crossed with a buff orp (roo x hen or hen x roo) will produce single barred birds (roo x hen: all offspring barred, possible gold leakage) or gold pullets and barred cockerels (hen x roo: gold pullets, barred cockerels possibly with gold leakage, also barred).
5. Looks more like a buff orp x black australorp. Keep an eye on the shoulders. If a rusty red tone appears, it's a cockerel too. Comb is in the can't quite tell either way stage.
2. Looks light enough to be a gold x silver cross (gold roo, silver hen)
6 and 2 are definitely pullets. Could be split to something, could be barred hen crossed with buff orp roo but not other way around.
Pretty birds, leakage is going to make them even more interesting
Wry neck??
Rue who is about 9.5 weeks old appears to have developed this condition. She still has balance and locomotion. She is eating and drinking normally. Neither her nor anyone else has shown any signs of illness at all. I have not changed feed, except a bag of black soldier fly larvae I brought. This is day two and she does seem improved today. She does still seem to be twisting but not as dramatically as yesterday.
What I have done so far:
Yesterday, immediately put Poultry Cell into their water. It’s all they have so I know she will have to drink it.
Today I bought some black oil sunflower seeds as I read it has very high Vitamin C and selenium in them.
I am flummoxed, I have been feeding either Nutrenia or Kalmbach 18% chick feed as I always have and never have I had this issue. Thought? Could it be the larvae?
She was doing this a lot not all the time though but definitely often enough to be not at all normal. Today she isn’t like this at all but just holding her head off to the side.

Why is it that commercial egg pics always show the eggs stored wrong way round?I don't eat much& a full dozen would infer I'm a glutton... we don't want to offend anyone. Besides 1/2 dozen cartons are so cute & easy to handle.

Chicken math includes subtraction sadly. She really is. I love her little eagle face.
The last three were Slowpoke, Copper, and Comrade. I wanted to keep them longer but they were getting too violent.
We have kept Breezy, Cemani, and Nosy Posy.
That's a very special gift. I hope she will accept it from you.I went shopping earlier this morning and bought a pearl necklace to reward my friend from church, who always gave me chicken gifts . I think that they would look lovely on her. She always tries to look nice when I see her. Is this friendship gift a bit too much?View attachment 4149916
I was wondering how the water in the cups keeps from freezing. Is it warmed from the main body?
