I’m thinking Coco would be more comfortable with half a baby aspirin. My poor lady, she’s pretty torn up.

I had 1&4 as cockerels and 3 as a maybe as well.

Interesting that they aren't barred rock/ buff orp crosses. That's what they are sold as but not a total surprise. They did come from a "farm" without a lot of breed control I imagine.

The all black could be as a sex-link pullet. The rest....not possible due to lack of barring/color options.the black with bits of gold on the chest....could be....but awfully early to pop leakage.
The white has very faint Colombian markings which appear to be barred. Delaware mix (with another silver based bird, but comb isn't right for Delaware, so suspect other bird is NOT straight combed. Pretty sure there's Colombian marked birds in flock: light sussex, Colombian wyandotte, light brahma..

I needed a nice cup of Coco this afternoon. She’s doing great considering her damaged foot.
She’s just chatting away to me, and purring up a storm. I think she’s in that last egg laying twilight time of her life. You peeps call it Henopause if I’m correct.

I went shopping earlier this morning and bought a pearl necklace to reward my friend from church, who always gave me chicken gifts . I think that they would look lovely on her. She always tries to look nice when I see her. Is this friendship gift a bit too much?View attachment 4149916

That's lovely Alex. Was long as it's a well meaning gift. Just be sure to let her know that it is a friendship present for all the lovely things she does for you.

I only worry that such an expensive gift doesn’t make her think that I want a relationship with her. I’m great with my lifestyle right now, no relationships. Only chickens and friends….. good enough for me.
