I love that Polish are spreading their wonder around our group. They are just awesome chickens.

I am hard pressed not to go visiting my neighbour to see her Polish chicklets

But I made myself a promise to not get any further chooks this year.

I have been buying Canadian food for the chooks.
The Black Soldier Fly larvae I get is a product of Canada and I purchased two more bags today. My usual friend from church, didn’t attend sadly. He missed a great sermon about the need to be humble and rules against narcissism! ( I preach a good sermon sometimes, and I’m so handsome!). Haha. Just kidding

Those beaver will need their cooling waters. It’s a steamy hot one here it was 27c (80f) when I was up at 6am. Calling for a high of 33C and high humidity.

By the sounds of it, the chickens are not the only ones that will need water puddles

Time to get some water puddles in place for the chickies to paddle in.

We are just stupid here. Vaccinate the darn chickens. They have a huge stockpile of the AI vaccine as well.

Sometimes I just shake my head at the craziness of it all. Cattle, swine, sheep - all sorts of preventatives, treatments and meds for them.

Is it because of the individual low cost of a chicken? Just replace it?
