Oh and his beak has grown back! And in fact needs a trimming. This weekend that will happen.
Use whatever gets the job done, I say...The big issue here is the humidity levels - heat is one thing, but when it’s humid it extremely difficult to evaporate moisture to ‘cool down’.
I use fans to help move air, and try to keep them inside as much as possible where it’s a bit cooler. I do put water on the ground to create puddles and that does turn to mud. They like to dig in that. But the big thing I find they like are the brick pavers in the barn. They will lay on those pavers where it’s cool.
Humidity is the big issue. It’s 20C (68f) but my humidity is at 79% it’s very clammy out there, perfect mosquito weather! The H
