We have so many silkies and orpingtons! Also a couple legbars and of course the polish. One silkie who seemed deformed passed away, sadly.

Hubby made "lay trays" that I will put curtains around. Our girls like to pile up to lay so it makes sense

The creaky bagpipes are so happy to be out of that cramped cage.
You should name that chick Odysseus. That trip home was quite the Odyssey!Took Shelock for a walk, then put him to bed in the car port per his request. Headed down to the coop to sit with the stragglers. And found this....
They really are quite the characters. It is hard not to love Polish chickens. We have had amazing luck with those who have lived here. This picture of the two makes them appear to have vastly different personalities!
(?Nimue?) the one on the left - looks high class, elegantly coiffed and presented, but demure.
The one on the right: Beautiful, but in a super model, confident, a bit in your face beauty - but not in a bad way...more of a confident 'go ahead, look at me - at least the look will be enjoyable for you' kind of way. ?maybe confidently aloof???
They are so very gorgeous - and from what you post - characters, too! (characters that have daddy wrapped around their wing...and sounds like Mrs. By Bob, too!!!![]()

This is such a beautiful picture
Send them here - I guess I can make room for a couple more!
I miss him so much. He wasn’t just a chook, he was my best friend
Maybe hang one of the suet cake cages up there for the guineas? Not sure what they like, but the suet cakes come with peanut butter, berries, apple, and I think mealworm mixes.... of course, the other birds will try to follow them up too....might need to create some "platform" steps to aid in coming down.We are in luck, the coop has exposed rafters for the bagpipes!
