Madhouse here lately. Young roosters fighting. Two broody game hens fighting (poor Nacho lost the fight, but she is ok I think) eight more little ones from next door.

I get two blue eggs and one brown from mine .

Sir Shirley is a Dada, one of the eggs has hatched! And it’s dark with a white spot on its head - thinking a cockerel and maybe barred?

I think 7 more to go…

I am thrilled, over the moon!

Shirley's offspring should be 50% headspot (striped), 50% not striped. They will NOT be sex linked as the hen must be striped to do that. Could be pullet or cockerel. If any of their hens are barred, then a double barred cockerel is a possibility.

I get two blue eggs and one brown from mine .

In theory I get a brown from Sylvie and a dark khaki from Tassels.
But Tassels is way too busy with motherhood to consider laying any eggs, and Sylvie was broody and now is molting.
So just blue eggs for me.
