I haven’t seen hot air balloons in years go overhead. The horses about killed me a few times with those when I was riding.

Wonder what the chooks would think?!

The Base sent a HUGE helicopter overhead last week and scared to ever living daylights out of everyone, didn’t help it flew extremely low overhead.

Wonder why the noisy military copters fly so low here? It's understandable for the police or firefighting copters to circle low in their official duties... & the news copters fly low over the freeway reporting traffic... just haven't figured why the military fly so low it rattles our house?! Noise doesn't bother the chickens though.

Even city birds don't seem to be bothered by noisy aircraft & don't fly off.

The flock alerts to the copter

Then return to foraging, "Oh, just another machine noise"

And I have an answer as to what colour Mr Spotty is, @Debbie292d thinks he is a Red Pyle - I was going around tonight calling him Mr Pyles. Had to stop that though as I was worried I might start calling him Mr H. I am sure you oldsters will figure that one out!

On this fine Monday, I have a beautiful photo of Parmesan from 1 1/2 weeks ago. Yes, Mozzarella is still looking like a porcupine but the feathers are starting to grow back... at a slow pace.

I awoke very late. Had a nightmare.
Dreamt that I wanted to marry some beautiful woman, but found out I was still legally married to the ex wife. All prior mortgage payments were still due, And then mind slipped into where I was driving a broken down Pinto car.
I shouldn’t have eaten that slice of leftover pepperoni pizza before bed!

Happy Tuesday everyone
Here is a 2-fer for Tuesday. Technically two 2-fers.

Mr. Chips did not try to crow yesterday (I think maybe he was ridiculed for his first attempt), but he gave it a go this morning.
Getting better, but still quite odd. He will get blueberries as a reward for effort.
