I’m not sure if I hate my chicks or my ag teacher. I think I’m leaning towards my ag teacher.
A student decided to put her two barred rock pullets in with my three chicks. Like, hello? Just not going to even ask if it’s okay?
My guess is that the student asked my ag teacher, and she said that it’s fine. My issue is that she didn’t even ask my friend or me if it’s okay.
I told the girl that we are going to start building a new coop soon, and that my chickens will be in that coop. I also told her that Taffy was sick and that it might not be the best idea for her chicks to be in the coop.
I have no issue with the girl at all, and I know her sister, but she doesn’t know anything about chickens.
Well, my chicks are being standoffish towards hers, and she threatened to throw mine into the chicken wire. I had to pause what I was doing and stare at her for a moment. She was joking, and I could tell, but that rubbed me the wrong way.
Her chicks are also chasing mine away from the food and water, which is an issue. My friend made sure that they got food and water earlier, but I am still furious.
I’m going to school tomorrow in the afternoon to give Taffy her medicine and make sure they have food and water, and if those barred rocks mess with my chicks, I am going to cause problems with my ag teacher. I will tell her straight up that my friend and I don’t want other chickens in with our show chickens, and that we want this girl to take her chicks back home, at least until we get our coop built.
Ugh, my chicks are just causing me and my friend so much stress. I love them to death, but omg they are putting so much stress onto me while I am already stressing about my grades.
Not sure if I mentioned, but I got my AP government grade up to an 80 the other day. And my English grade was a 90 for 20 minutes and then went back down to an 89.
Happy Fluffy Butt Friday
Polish butt with Athens staring at nothing because he’s slightly special I think.
