my chicks absolutely hate the incubator once they’ve hatched and these 2 are much more active than the welsummer was! seriously considering staying up later since it’s Thursday and move them to the brooder around midnight

I need to go check my eggs in the silky coop We where gone all day shopping came home
went to Dinner went through 6 pages on like the each of the 8 threads I watch including this one

we moved the 2 chicks to the brooder. they are all 3 trying their best to crawl under hoppy! hoppy has been really good with them but not too sure about sitting on chicks at 9 weeks old lol! candled the remaining 3 and black australorp was cheeping and has pipped! easter egger looks like behind but may still hatch. smudge still looks like probable DIS.

Color a bit off due to heat lamp but all 3 seem to be happy! They love snuggling up to piggy!

Same here penny. I think the cold delayed them. Just checked my broody, and removed the one egg, it’s sloshy! Ewww. But the other is drawn down, maybe internal pip. Those blue eggs are hard to see in.
If it doesn’t hatch by the weekend, my other broodies are on a few eggs, I’ll give this girl a couple of theirs. She probably would sit for another week.
