i love the way u think!! lol I was so happy to see the welsummer! i was hoping to get breeds i didn’t already have and the only known repeats are the BA and the EE. i’m really hopeful that “smudge” ends up being a speckled sussex as that was the other available breed I was really hoping for! my best description for that one would be a cream colored egg? with the exception of the welsummer they were mostly cream to light brown....

I've had SS in the past...lovely birds. It will be fun to see what you end up with!

I'd say give her eggs!
Although I took eggs from under another frizzle last night. They wore me out all summer, so I'm only allowing the one for the HAL.

She has 3 eggs so far. I'm just not sure if she's still adding to the nest or if she's to sit but she wasn't moving earlier and was fluffing and growing at me lol.

Typically, I don't trust my broodies to hatch out babies on their own since they tend to mess up but since I'm not hatching anymore myself (besides the few due on Sunday) I'm just letting them go. Besides, both girls brooding now are first timers so they can try to prove themselves worthy for the future

My broody scared me today. She wasn't where she was before. I went to check on her and she was gone! Here, she just moved all her eggs about a foot or so further back in the shed than she was before and I couldn't see her lol. She was grumpy when I checked on her....I got some serious stink eye and growls!

Have any turkey eggs for hatching for sale
