@Farmer Connie, you're a legend! Glad I don't have to keep up with who's got what cooking.

My doves still have 2 live eggs despite the fact that they have chosen a stupid place to nest and it's not that easy to keep the eggs under them (and we had a cold snap over the weekend so it's a miracle they are still alive after I found them stone cold on Sunday).

My finches have 4 fertile eggs (and 3 infertile). Finch eggs are so easy as fertile eggs stay bright white, infertile eggs go yellowish, and any that were fertile but die go grey. But they are very cool to candle still as the shells are so thin you can see a lot.

I'm not sure when anything is due for sure but I'll have to post photos of babies - finch chicks and dove chicks are so ugly they are cute.
