i am getting flack for my thermostat setting

I HATE turning the heat on. That being said, when it dipped to 59* in our apartment, I conceded and said we could turn on the heat...

Our thermostat is set for 68 degrees, (The recommended minimum temp to have outside the incubator to incubate)... I'm too hot. DW is too cold

I have to much natural insulation I suppose.

We keep ours at 63 upstairs, where we sleep, and 65 - 68 downstairs, depending on the time of day/night and the type of cold it is outside. That damp kind of cold chills to the bone, which is when the heat gets bumped up a little higher.

Kids whined until I offered to let them pay the electric bill this month. They put on hoodies and socks.

we have a heated mattress pad so at night i turn it down to 55°. i sleep so much better when it's cold in the house.

Ours is set at 64. We would like to keep it a little warmer but cant really afford to so we add another blanket on the bed or a sweatshirt.

I like mine around 68 but everyone else is too cold, so it stays around 72-73. I would run it lower and throw on a sweatshirt and lower the electric bill from $250+ to half, but too much complaining.

60/65 is a little too cold for me.
