Incubating Geese Eggs

Hey how is it going today? duckling still improving?
Hi! It’s going amazing! From thinking the little girl wasn’t going to survive, the situation now is a loooot better. She can walk and run and everything, she just sits with one leg far ahead. Her neck is also just bent and I’m not sure what to do. A cast? I’ll try to provide an image tomorrow. Her stool is very watery and I feel like she’s not eating much and just sits in a corner. I don’t want to put both geese together yet because he gets everything so wet and towers over her and she barely just learned to walk so I think I’ll give it a week or so. I’ll keep updating!

If you can get a video of her you can put it on Viemo or you tube then copy and paste it here. Do you have her food where she can get to it easily and water too? if you can get some probiotics to put into her water that may help with watery poop. And put the 2 together a little bit each day when you can watch them because he can teach her a lot about eating.

Ok I’ll try, thanks for the advice. I’ll try to do that and see how it goes. I’ll see if I can do the video thing and post it as well

Is there any remedy? She’s having a hard time eating food with her neck like this and this is how she sits. Walking is no problem anymore

I can’t beleive that it’s a problem from after hatching and a gooses first year of laying usually has genetic problems I’ve heard. Should I try this? @Miss Lydia @Pyxis

My gosh I never got an alert for this. Yes try what you can, when did this happen? she looked to be doing so well.

@Pyxis have you seen this?
She has always sat like this and can pick herself up and run but I think as she has gotten older, the neck has gotten more obvious. I’m going to attempt the sponge thing, maybe use a donut hair tie?
Also I put them together and at first they were doing well but challah kind of bites her a bit so i think that will take time as well

I tagged @Pyxis hopefully she'll be here soon. Def try something that will not injure her. So she can't eat? Your going to have to help her. Eat and drink.

Challah probably notices something is different about her too other than his size could mean why he is nipping at her. They seem to want to gang up on one that is different.
