Oh no!!! Them darn predators :rant... I hope yours stay safe:)

That is so sad! Make sure you take extra care over yours so the Fox doesn’t get to your yard!

I got home this arvo and I have the feed container thats air tight next to my coop. When I got home it was tipped over like something had gone between the coop and the container today! Something was maybe circling the coop. And its not our dog because his inside or with us when his outside. Called my partner to see if the dog tipped it over when he was out with him but nope.
I really want a camera over the coop.

Hi KLIL and everyone. I'm sure you know this by now, but lil' Light Sussex is all boy! lol He's a beauty & should grow up to be a gorgeous rooster! I hope your little Australorp guy learns to mind his manners for ya. I had 2 Australorp roos several years ago. Both were jack-@$$es - 1 was serious about it and the other was kinda stupid and mostly charged and ran into me without jumping up trying to spur. Neither one stayed after that behavior started.
I had an Ameraucana rooster (he was nuts when I got him as an adult) that was the meanest S.O.B. I ever saw. A farmer wanted him to free range on a big farm so he could be a great protector of a whole bunch of free range chickens. He got lucky is all I can say. HA!

Hello :frow
I really wanted Chippy my Light Sussex to be a hen but he is a beautiful Cockerel. My partner and I have agreed to only keep one rooster so at the moment they are on trial to see who makes the cut but I love them both. The Black Australorp JD he has an attitude but he also melts my heart. We only have a small flock of 7 at the moment my coop is rated to 8 chickens so I wont be going over 8 but we are going to look at building a bigger coop and getting more chickens down the track. We weren't sure we would enjoy it but my partner and I are just so happy and love them all so much.
How many do you currently have in your flock?

Krystal a game cam can give you a wealth of info. If I could afford it, I'd put a wifi booster on the roof and run extension cords out there for my wifi cameras...

We have a boost for our wifi to our shed because we have wifi in the shed, cameras and alarm on the shed (where our toys live). I think the ground work has been done just need to get more cameras. I looked at a sensor camera but I think ill get get them properly fitted.
