Oh yum.....we can have a cake party! We have Spice cake with buttercream icing, come on over!
I process birds way out in the woods so they can spew to their heart's content. The blood doesn't spew all over as much if you hold them.
It is nice if they don't get it all over you, though. Are you worried about attracting predators? Not that I could cull but I would worry about the smell of blood drawing something in.I process birds way out in the woods so they can spew to their heart's content. It is nice if they don't get it all over you, though.
We cull over at the fire pit on a piece of wood and then burn carcass and all.Are you worried about attracting predators? Not that I could cull but I would worry about the smell of blood drawing something in.
I have the cones about 150' away from the birds, only once has something bothered the blood pool beneath the cones.. Varmints go right pass it for some reason. The guts I put in the secure garbage can, I try to process right before garbage day.Are you worried about attracting predators? Maybe? I don't process them right by the coop either. Actually, I dump the leftovers in the woods, and with the last bird I did they were still there and rotting several weeks later. Nothing had eaten them.
